1st Half Analysis
I’ll be very honest with you, I can’t tell you much about the game cause I’m still brooding over the fact that Borriello is not playing. Atleast I’m not the ONLY person, the lovely ladies from Kickette are with me on this one. What I can tell you is that both teams have been playing well. The Italians seemed to be the better side until Alcaraz scored. The second half promises to be a very interesting one.
2nd Half Analysis
To begin with, it was a good second half. Italy had a better game. But to come back as world champions and settle for a draw is not a good sign. Paraguay on the other hand played well, except for that little goalkeeping mistake. I expected a lot more action from Italy but that did not happen. The scoreline read 1-1 and the Man of the Match went to Alcaraz. Today was weird, first Cameroon lose and now Italy draw. Still upset about Borriello. 😦
Tomorrow’s Group G games promises to be interesting. Well, one can only wait and watch.
