Serbia v Ghana

1st Half Analysis

Milovan Rajevac a Serbian, manages the Ghana National Football Team. His team played Serbia today. I’m guessing it was a very emotional moment for him when the Serbian National Anthem was played.

Now according to me, Ghana played well. They were more of an attaching team in comparison to Serbia and the only reason why they have not yet scored

could be because of the outstanding Serbian defense. But let’s not rule out either team from scoring and winning the game. A lot can happen in the second half so let’s wait n watch. Right now, it’s anyone’s to win.

2nd Half Analysis

What a second half it has been! Both teams gave it their all and I’m pretty sure this match would have ended in a draw had it not been for that penalty. The turning point of the game was when Serbia were brought down to 10 men after Lukovic received a second yellow card. Both Ghana and Serbia came close to scoring a couple of times but were either denied by the keeper or the post. Then, in the 85’ Ghana were awarded a penalty for Kuzmanovic’s handball in the penalty area. Gyan converted it into a goal. The score line remained 1-0 to Ghana at the final whistle.

Now what I enjoyed the most was the celebration at the end of the game and that cannot be described, it has to be watched and I promise if I find a video or a link to the celebrations I will definitely put it up.
